1) I have a macbook G4 (I think!) When I start it up the fan starts working but the screen remains black, not even getting to the 'bong' stage.

2) My macbook will not turn on.Im in Winchester The power adapter shows a dim green light. The battery lights don't show any charge at all. I've tried a different power adapter but see the same problem. Could you please let me know how much it would cost to investigate the issue?

3) Can you give me a quote for increasing my memory in Basingstoke and possibly processor speed? i'm all out of space (mac shop have deleted all they can in terms of spare programs etc). how long would it take etc. i live in W4. cheers tracey

5) My mac will not start up and the white light on the front flashes twice. The fans go on full.

6) It's possible that I might get this problem fixed tomorrow but if not it would be good to know there is somewhere else to go to for help!Have been using macs for years but am new to installing software so need some advice. Just got a macbook pro from new bought it in Winchester (running snow leopard) and so I'm having to sort out the software myself for the first time and am not enjoying the stress. I'm scared of breaking my new macbook!!A friend gave me a copy of CS3 to try but I left it for a couple of hours and it stuck about 90% of the way through it and froze so I had to restart. Uninstalled, tried again but it did the same again.I used the uninstall and manually uninstalled some adobe items it looked to have missed and were listed on the adobe site. I have nothing else on it as it's new and so I've looked through everything and I can't see any mention of anything related to adobe now.I now have another friend who says they will install CS4 for me tomorrow which will hopefully work. If not I will probably buy CS4 from jigsaw but if I was to still be unable to install it, would you be able to have a look at it for me? Thanks for your time
